Language; the most important and defining characteristic of the human species
Three of the most intriguing questions in contemporary scientific research: Where did language come from? How did it evolve? Why are we unique in possessing it?
In this session we try to unlock the puzzle of language evolution by shedding light on the process of the development of language in the human brain, interrelating linguistics with cognitive science, psychoanalysis and chaos theory.
